2010 Multi-District Rotary PETS ( President Elect Training Seminar)
Districts 7600, 7610, 7620 & 7630
March 4-6, 2010 |
Westfields Marriott
Chantilly, Virginia
Plan to arrive on Thursday, March 4 to meet and have dinner with Rotary International President-elect Ray Klinginsmith. President-elect Ray will share with you his plans for the 2010-11 Rotary Year. He has been a Rotarian since 1961 and is a former ambassadorial scholar. PE Ray has already told us: “I will have the special privilege of serving as the 100th president of our great organization. After 50 years, Rotary is still an exciting experience for me, and no one else owes a greater debt to Rotary. Therefore, I hope to combine my excitement, commitment and Rotary experience to be the kind of leader that Rotary deserves in its 100th president. After all, that is the least I can do because I was a Rotary Scholar!”
Combine your meeting of RIPE Ray with the Chesapeake PETS unique Rotary learning opportunity designed specifically to prepare incoming Club Presidents with the necessary skills, knowledge, motivation and enthusiasm to lead an effective Rotary club. It is the singular most important training event for Rotary leaders at the club and district level. Structured to meet the needs of incoming Club Presidents, incoming Assistant Governors and Governor Nominees, this two-day training seminar serves all Rotary clubs in four Rotary districts (two in Virginia – 7600 & 7610; one in Western Maryland/District of Columbia -7620; and one in Eastern Maryland/Delaware - 7630).

Rotary changes its leadership each year, at every level. What other organization does this and still manages not to lose momentum but – in fact – grows each year? Rotary does that and PETS is a key component in why and how this happens. Learn more about Chesapeake PETS by checking out our “FAQ” from the menu bar to the left. |
